| Ruché wine. Ruché D.O.C. di Castagnole Monferrato. Very fine wine. Quality wine. LA MONDIANESE RUCHÈ DOC DI CASTAGNOLE MONFERRATO. Viticulture and enology. Ruché grape from Asti province between Alba and Alessandria, in the Piedmont region of north-western Italy. Grignolino and Barbera using own grape vines. Open for tasting and direct sale in the spectacular cellar set in the beautiful hills of the Langhe. A wine of very limited production exclusively from the Castagnole Monferrato area in the province of Asti, produced from Ruché grapes. Some believe that the name derives from the San Rocco monastery, others that it comes from the vines predilection for dry, sun burnt, rocky terrain. The low yield per acre and the hand picking with a strict selection of the grapes guarantee the highest possible quality. It is an aromatic wine, ruby red with a touch of violet reflections, a light perfume of roses and cyclamen with an oriental note that reminds you of incense. To the palate the wine is smooth with a velvet base, and traces of mature plum and black pepper. Excellent served with warm starters and cheese based first courses, herbs, grilled meat or sweet pastries. Serving temperature 16-18° C. 14% vol. |
